"Thorough, professional and kind"

I want to commend Dr Sprot at the Lomond Practice, Glenrothes for his excellent patient care.

Dr Sprot is thorough, professional and kind. In June last year there were signs that my father in law's bowel cancer had spread to his liver and Dr Sprot acted with a sense of urgency and with much kindness.

He got on the phone and made sure we were able to get my father-in-law to the hospital without any delay. He held my father-in-law's hand as he explained the situation, displaying an empathy that was truly touching to witness. My father in law passed away 8 months later. 

In my own interactions with Dr Sprot, I have found him to be professional, thorough and understanding of my concerns, always taking the time to explain and answer questions.

The human connection that Dr Sprot makes with his patients is heart warming to see and really quite extraordinary to experience in the present times. Dr Sprot is an asset to his profession and a model example of how to deliver patient-centred care. I am really grateful to have him as my GP.
