"Excellent care from excellent staff"

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Orthopaedics (Wards 10a, 10b, 10c &10d)

(as the patient),

I was a patient in ward 10C last week and received the most outstanding care for a lateral tibia plateau fracture. Everyone from medical (including physio's) to clerical staff were so professional, pleasant, hard working and helpful. I was very stressed as I had never been in hospital before and this made my short stay much easier.

I was treated with dignity and respect at all times and I would like to thank them all.

Also thanks to A&E Staff Nurse Emma (who immediately suspected I had this particular fracture) and her assistant Tracey and all other staff in A&E who were just wondeful.

Hi

Thank you so much for taking the time to share details of your recent experience as a patient in Ward 10C QEUH.

It's good to hear that the whole Orthopaedic team pulled together to provide outstanding care and help to reduce your stress following admission for your injury.

It is always great to receive feedback from our patients, I will share your kind comments with the Trauma and Orthopaedic team.

I wish you all the best with your ongoing recovery.
