We had to call 111 this morning and a paramedic called me back and arranged a priority call for my father who is terminally ill and deteriorated over night, the crew arrived at our address in Mudeford at 0630 and stayed with us until they had managed to get hold of a Macmillan nurse just after 0900, once they were given the authority they then transferred him to a local Hospice in Christchurch. The crew were exceptional and in our opinion went above and beyond there duties, they were informative, caring, and nothing was too much trouble. The crew were contacted by there control regarding other jobs but the paramedic on scene told his control to leave him alone as they would be on scene for some time to care for my father. They left my mothers house just before 1000.
