"You truly made a difference"

About: University Hospital Monklands / General Surgery (Wards 4 & 7)

(as a service user),

I am so grateful to all of the wonderful staff in Ward 4 at Monklands Hospital. They cared for my Mum from a week until she passed away.

The nursing and auxiliary staff were truly amazing in how they cared not only for my Mum but for us too. They were kind, compassionate and empathetic and they treated my Mum with dignity.

She has been in various wards over the years but the care she received here is by far and away the best. Thank you!

A special thanks from me to Dionne, Rebecca and Debbie for your compassion and kindness and especially for the hugs. You truly made a difference and helped our family through the hardest time in our lives.

There were another couple of ladies I'd like to thank too but I'm sorry I can't remember your names. I hope you know who you are.
