"Amazing staff at this unit"

I had an out patient appointment recently at Perth Royal Infirmary gynaecology outpatient department.

I attended promptly for my appointment but when l told them my name they couldn’t find me on the list.  I was told to sit in the waiting room and they would go and find out.  The lady came back to me to advise my appointment was for Ninewells and that l was in the wrong place and had missed my appointment! I advised that my original appointment was for 2 weeks time at PRI  and l had the letter with me, but I explained I had been called up last week and offered a cancellation at the same place as my original appointment PRI.  So the person who changed my appointment did not advise me on the change of hospital.  I had travelled 15 miles for this appointment.

 The staff at PRI went above and beyond and fitted me into their already very busy day. I would just like to pass on my sincere thanks to Sonya, Ellie and the student nurse Emma who seen me there and then and did not send me away. These staff members of NHS at PRI made me feel so at ease throughout my appointment and are a great credit to the NHS.  I can’t thank them enough for fitting me in and not making me wait any longer for another appointment.  Amazing staff at this unit! Thank you.
