"Left total knee replacement surgery"

About: North Devon District Hospital / General surgery North Devon District Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I have been trying to remember how long I have been waiting for this surgery. In honesty, I don't think very long at all. Yes my knee has been painful for years, but only "unbearable" for a very short time.

Mr Abed and the care team have been fantastic. I have had my right knee already done. So knew, what to expect. However, everyone and everything, from the moment I arrived until I was discharged went like a well ordered process.

Everyone was friendly, polite and helpful.

I do not see anything obvious that needs improving.

Dear castorep35,

Thank you for taking the time to respond to your recent stay on Jubilee ward following your Left Total Knee Replacement.

I am pleased to hear that your experience went well and that the care team were 'fantastic'. I will pass on your kind comments to Mr Abed and the whole team.

I hope that you painful knee has now improved and may we wish you a continued recovery and all of the best for the future.

Kind Regards
