"Fantastic service "

About: Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust

My 10 year old son woke up being sick and with pain in his testicle. We did a quick Google and were recommended to go to A & E. I took him to Trafford General Walk In approximately 9am. We were seen very quickly and examined and advised to go to the children's hospital where they had phoned ahead to book us in. On arrival at Manchester children's hospital we were quickly seen by a surgeon who explained the procedure that he would complete. He was in theatre at 12.30 - he had a twisted testicle which still had a blood supply as it had been treated so quickly so he got stitched up and there should not be any long term damage.

Staff in both hospitals were fantastic and we got discharged at 6pm that day.

Dear

The Patient Experience Team thank you for taking the time to share your positive feedback on the NHS website regarding your care at Manchester Royal Infirmary and Royal Manchester Childrens Hospital.

It is always good to read such positive words in response to the conscientious work of our staff. We have forwarded your message on to the Head of Nursing in those areas to be shared with the staff involved.

Yours sincerely
