We have just finished up on the 4 week
CAH Antenatal Classes with midwifes Nora and Karolina! They are a credit to the health and social care industry.
I am a first time mother expecting twins; feeling nervous, excited and number of other emotions in between.
Before attending these sessions I really didn't know what to expect, but I was so glad to see they were being offered on Zoom/remotely, as it made the ability to join the classes a lot more achievable and also enjoyable. As I was able to relax in the comfort in my own home with my birth partner/husband. I was also to able to ask questions to the midwifes in private, which I might have been too nervous to do in person, being a quite shy character.
From beginning to end, both Nora and Karolina made my husband and I feel so welcomed and relaxed. They both have such a natural way with their training delivery. They are a perfect combination with their own unique training styles and skills, that compliment each other so well.
These classes have been one of the first steps we have taken to start our journey of learning what we feel we need to know before our twins arrive. We didn't know where to begin but heard of these classes through friends and family and it felt like the perfect place to start. There was so much valuable information and links to resources, that really has helped us to feel a little more settled. We definitely feel we have learnt a lot of the valuable basics and have the the relevant details to find out more information where we might need it.
We especially loved the "sheep scale" that Karolina and Nora started sessions off with. It was such a great ice breaker and certainly put a smile on our faces each class. It really helped to show we can all be feeling differently each day and that not every two days will be the same. We will also remember Nora and Karolina and the 9 sheep emotions.
We feel so lucky and privileged to have had had the ability to obtain access to these classes, and even more fortunate to have had the opportunity to meet Karolina and Nora! I will strongly be recommending this services to my friends and family.
"We definitely feel we have learnt a lot of the valuable basics"
