"St Georges day A let down"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as a service user),

This week was St Georges day and patents are disappointment that the Kitchens did not do a special menu for this day.  other years we have had fish shop menu which as always went down well with every one and always

gets good feed back in meetings as we get food we don't get all year round. as a hospital we celebrate wide a range of festivals which is important to certain cultures and St George is our patron Saint and I believe as others that St Georges Day should be celebrated not forgotten.

Thank you for taking the time to feedback, please be assured we use all feedback to improve our services and patient experience.

The Facilities Services team is currently reviewing its approach, across the the trust, to theme days/cultural events. Our aim is to develop a standardised approach across our trust and agree on how to best celebrate moving forward. We continue to work with relevant patient and staff groups, to establish expectations and discuss the logistics in terms of service delivery.

I can only apologise we were not able to support a themed provision of St George’s day on this occasion. We do recognise the importance of theme days and cultural events, and how much our patients value them. Please be assured we are working hard to support the delivery of this provision moving forward and we will provide updates on forthcoming theme days via your patient groups.
