"The support has been amazing"

I was a raging alcoholic 7 days a week.  

For a few years I knew i had a problem. I tried to self de-tox which did not work.  I approached CGL through a recommendation from a family friend. 

CGL were a great support for me. It took CGL roughly 4 months to find a Detox place at DCDS.  When I heard this I felt great but also terrified. 

On day one at DCDS I was very anxious.  By day 3 I started to attend groups and meeting other clients and staff. By day 9 and I felt 10 times better. My stay here has helped me so much.

The medication i received and the groups here have really made a difference to my recovery. The support I have received from staff and other clients has been amazing. I am positive now about my future.
