My father, aged 99, was admitted to the ward after a couple of falls at home. He was cared for by a group of people whose approach was optimistic, loving and respectful.
My sister and I were always made welcome and kept informed of all developments. We could not have been more delighted with ALL of the team. The afternoon before he died, Dad asked about going home. We told him this was unlikely at present.
He immediately replied: No hurry, I'm very comfortable here. They are all lovely people.
