An ovarian cyst had been picked up on a ct scan and again when I attended the gynae assessment unit for an ultrasound.
The reg arranged a follow up ultrasound to monitor the cyst which I had in July but no notes were shared with the radiology department so the radiologist couldn’t compare the scan with the previous scan in April.
The radiographer advised for another ultrasound so they could actually compare the scans (which was the whole point in the scan in July). The results and suggestions went back to gynae who seemingly have ignored this totally.
I have now waited 9 months on a follow up which has not been arranged. I would like someone to contact me regarding this to get my scan expedited.
