I have been been drinking for around 19 years. During stressful times I would drink heavier to mask the issues. I approached CGL after having and accident and the doctors referred me. This is my third de-tox but on this occasion CGL managed to refer me to DCDS in around 5 months.
I was really anxious about coming to DCDS, but after I arrived became calmer with the staff and clients and it took me a few days settle. I was accepted and not judged in anyway. I am very happy grateful having the opportunity to be at the centre. The level care is amazing and I will continue with my recovery once I leave. I will keep busy with CGL and concentrate on my cat as it is unwell and myself.
The only things that could be improved is more garden access and access to an iron board and iron.
