"This was a very slick and fast service"

About: Fife Community Services / Rapid Cancer Diagnostic Service (RCDS) Queen Margaret Hospital / Radiology

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

My thanks to everyone at the RCDS unit for their prompt and kind attention after I was referred by my GP for tests.  Nothing seemed too much bother as they guided me through the process.

Apart from the kind staff the best thing about my experience was the speed, it was all so fast.  After my initial phone call I was quickly given an appointment at Queen Margaret Dunfermline for a CT scan.  Here again the staff were kind and considerate.

The results came through in a couple days, so no long waiting.  The overall experience was very good and the helpful staff made it all that much  easier. Having had similar tests a few years ago for cancer which involved a wait for results, this was a very slick and fast service.
