I had surgery today at Cannock District Hospital for a bunion removal and  part of a screw removal from earlier surgery.

I must say from the time entering I could not fault the staff in any way. They went above & beyond to relax me and look after me while I was there.

The theatre staff were excellent explained everything that was happening at each stage and after coming round  when I was cold I was wrapped up warm and given a what could only be described as a hot air gadget that made me really toastie and got me extra pain relief.

Physio were excellent showing me how to walk on a heel weight boot and what not to do. They didn't have the correct size boot so are going to try and obtain one and even said they will deliver it to my house as they live not far from me. 

Highly recommend after care by nurses on ward as well. Bringing me toast and drinks to help with mouth dryness (not nice at all).
