"Lovely staff"

About: New Stobhill Hospital / Day Surgery

(as a carer),

All I can say is the nursing staff and the ward was absolutely lovely. They were friendly and kept me at ease and they kept coming up and asking if I’d like tea and a biscuit.

And when the Dr did come he introduce himself and asked where the pain was as I was going in for thumb surgery. I felt very at ease with him and he explained what he was going to do during the procedure and when he actually did he was talking to me all the time because I was awake as I had a local anaesthetic.

I ended up with 4 cortisone injections to help with the pain. The Dr will check up on this again in 6 months’ time.

Thanks to all the staff looking after me-they even all introduced themselves by their name-communication was excellent.

Dear sculptorrr86

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us your feedback on Care Opinion.

I was pleased to hear the care and treatment you received was to a high standard and you felt well cared for.

It was also great to hear how the staff took the time to introduce themselves and allowed you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have had.

I will be happy to pass on your thanks to the team who I'm sure will be touched to hear you had such a positive experience while under their care.

Kind regards

Kevin
