Stakeholder panel feedback

I just wanted to say that I enjoyed the experience of sitting on a stakeholder panel and that it felt nice to be trusted to be part of this along side higher management.

I would be happy to participate in this type of interview again as i felt included and listened to. Despite feeling anxious beforehand I felt relaxed once they sat and spoke with everyone. I felt that having Dale involved as a familiar face also helped me during the session and I would like Dale or Kath to be part of these both as support and to offer daycare advice moving forward.

We got see a different side of staff this way and felt our opinions where validated and that we were on the same level as everyone else.

In future I think a discussion should take place on what roles this process would take place for. I think for certain roles a separate patient panel would be more beneficial for the candidates for example HCA’s new to the hospital, however for other roles like yesterday that this was more beneficial and gave more conversation. I would like to have a further conversation about which roles it would work better for and which would be better with a separate patient panel.

It was nice in this instance for the candidate to ask more questions and i enjoyed the conversation amongst different team members. I felt people from a wide range of departments talking together with us included as 1 was great.

I really learned a lot and would like to do this again to learn more.

If we are again to be involved in a joint panel in the future, i feel doing it as a discussion again would work better than being sat asking set questions.
