"I was appalled by the lack of care I was given"

About: St John's Hospital / Emergency Medical Assessment

(as a service user),

I was appalled by the lack of care I was given at the new Emergency Medical Assessment (EMA) ward at St John's Hospital.

I encountered inexperienced nurses who missed 5 out of 6 veins, and was left on my own for hours with no care.

I felt ignored by Doctors & nurses told me to get up and shower when I was doubled over vomiting.

Worst hospital care I have ever been given.

Dear Joaik69 I am sorry that you have had a very poor experience when attending the EMA ward at ST Johns Hospital. I am disappointed that the care you received did not meet your standards. If you could send me your details or contact my office with your details on 01506 523849 I will investigate the concerns you raise and get back to you.
