About: Royal Victoria Hospital / Endoscopy Unit

(as a service user),

I was introduced to the most lovely and professional team in the RVH level 3 Endoscopy unit. Every single person I met was so kind, reassuring and calmed my pre procedure nerves down within seconds of meeting them. Nurse Jill made me laugh straight away and made sure my anxiety went away and I was very comfortable.

The team Dr Boyle, nurses Olivia, Justine, ChaCha and especially BJ! BJ kept me chatting about and distracted from the procedure with her lovely conversations and complimentary bedside manner! I felt in very safe hands throughout it all.

I couldn’t fault the team in any way, from the moment I walked in to the moment of discharge. This team went above and beyond and I really appreciate every single one of them and what they did for me. Gold stars all round!

Coming to hospital can be a dauting time, never mind having a procedure, so I am glad our team was able to put your mind at rest and support you through your time with us. We try our very best to treat everyone as an individual, with compassion and empathy, so hearing your lovely words reinforces that we are getting the job right. Thank you.
