We came to see you today to get my fathers suprapubic catheter changed, due to an infection. We cannot fault any of the care we have received, whilst we have been away on holiday.
My disabled father woke up disorientated / muddled, which is our first clue to him having an infection, as he cannot verbalise to us (he has Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus and Dementia). We called 111 and we advised to be seen by a GP asap, we got our appointment within 2 hours, where he was found to have a UTI. After collecting his medication the district nurses contacted us that afternoon to arrange a catheter change - what a change from our experience at home, 10/10.
"District nurses were 10/10"
