"Supportive and encouraging"

I had to call out of hours as my daughter wasn’t well. We had a call back within an hour, spoke to nurse and were given an appointment within 3 hours.

We had an appointment with Dr Coates in the Hamilton OOH practice. He listened to my daughter’s symptoms and my concerns. Gave her a thorough examination and identified she had tonsillitis. He let me know that I’d done the right thing in phoning OOH and bringing my daughter over to be checked. I know the service is exceptionally busy but he was reassuring, he listened and he made me feel empowered as a mother. It is unusual to find a doctor who is as supportive and encouraging as a parent. 

I can’t thank the service and Dr Coates enough.
