"Great experience"

I attended Spire Elland for my gallbladder removing (laparoscopic cholecystectomy) April this year, as an NHS patient. From referral from the GP, to my consultation at Elland, to my date of surgery it was very quick and efficient. The whole process went smoothly including consultation, pre assessment, admission to the ward, the operation itself, recovery on the ward and discharge. I was seen by the surgeon and the anesthetist before the operation. The amazing staff made me feel welcome and at ease. I was checked on regularly post operation in my own room which had been newley refurbished. I had my own bathroom and a large flat screen TV. I felt very safe and well cared for. My pain was well controlled and the staff were all friendly and experienced. I would definitely recommend having surgery here.
