I recently had major surgery following a colonoscopy, my operation took place at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy under Mr Proctor (Surgeon).
I went in at about 9am, but due to unexpected factors didn’t come round after 5pm in the High Dependency Ward. Woke up and had a stomer in recovery next day.
I was on the High Dependency Ward, where the staff were fantastic. I was then transferred to ward 44, where again the ward staff were fantastic. The stomer nurses were extremely helpful and they too were fantastic.
I have now left hospital, and all I can say is a big thank you to the Surgeon, Mr Proctor, and all the associated nurses etc the ward staff who were all brilliant, thank you for your great care.
"Thank you for your great care"
