"Probably the best care I have received in the longest time"

I recently got admitted to Ninewells Hospital with issues with my gallbladder. Whilst the waiting times were long the staff were unbearable! Probably the best care I have received in the longest time.

I have a 3-month-old and the hospital staff made sure I could have a side room on the ward to make it possible for my baby and my partner to stay for as long as they wanted to. We were even offered the option of overnight stay for them both as the staff were aware I have not been away from my child overnight at this point.

There was always lovely nurses to speak to and answer any questions. They are a credit to the hospital. All the surgeons I had were also lovely and patient and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole journey.

On the day of my surgery at the Surgical Admissions Unit the staff were so lovely and helpful, accommodating to myself and my family. Even the little things of getting the children juice and biscuits made all the difference.

The before, during and after care was phenomenal and I cannot thank the staff enough for all their hard work
