The service is good, once it is provided. However I waited 3 years for a cataract surgery! I know it was influenced by glaucoma symptoms and covid situation but 3 years is too long.
Now having had surgery in my eye, the appointments I am told I need by the surgeons are seemingly not being sent due to "various excuses" including holidays and lack of time?
I hope that surgery to my other eye is not delayed a further 3 years.
In general I am extremely healthy and so fortunate that I don't have to depend on the NHS which I think is badly failing people today, unlike the NHS I remember 60 to 70 years ago!
God Bless
