I recently felt really unwell with sore arm, acid reflux and feeling dizzy.
I knew that things were not well so called an ambulance. After a wait of 2 hours on an ambulance and 3 calls to the emergency services including collapsing in my home, the ambulance arrived. From this point on the care was excellent and I was rushed to Edinburgh Royal Infirmary and had an emergency stent fitted that evening then a further stent fitted later. Then discharged.
The Cath Lab and ward 114 staff were excellent and the professional care I was given after my heart attack was excellent. I have nothing but praise and gratitude to all involved in my care and thank all from the bottom of my heart.
"The care was excellent"
