I was referred to the Glasgow Dental Hospital by my Registered Dentist. I had found a small lump in my upper lip which did not resolve after 4 weeks.
Following referral I was contacted by phone by the Dental Hospital and given an appointment for the following day.
On arrival at the Dental Hospital, I was asked to fill in a health questionnaire.
I was then called in by a Dentist who carried out my initial assessment, he was very professional and kept me informed throughout my visit. The Dentist then called in his Consultant colleague who introduced herself and then following discussion I was asked if I was happy to consent to the removal of the small lump in my upper lip. I signed the consent form and was advised of the procedure.
I was kept informed through out the procedure. Following the procedure I was advised that the said lump would be routinely sent for pathology.
I was given an information leaflet and given contact numbers should I have any concerns. In all my experience was excellent and I would like to extend my thanks to all the Health Care professionals involved in my care.
"In all my experience was excellent"
