About: University Hospital Wishaw / Gynaecology (Ward 13)

(as a service user),

Came in recently to Wishaw General to have myosure procedure done with Dr Panadavara.

The doctor was explaining to me thing that was going to happen, then to be told I had precancerous cells I was extremely upset by this cause my results were supposed to be out by post and I never got them.

Dr was very supportive to me and I asked if I still wanted to get this done cause I was upset.

Came in to get the procedure to be be greeted by Fran &Julie, these nurses were absolutely very caring and kept asking me if I was OK, they calmed me down. So glad Fran and Julie were there, so supportive.

Thank you for sharing your experience of University Hospital Wishaw, gynaecology.

I am pleased to hear that during your myosure procedure with Dr Pandavara everything was explained clearly to you throughout the procedure and when you were given frightening results you felt well supported by the doctor, I am sorry to hear that you didn't get your results in the post, hearing the results for the first time must have been a real shock. Fran and Julie. It would be very reassuring when you have been upset and worried to have such excellent support and care.

I look forward to passing on your kind words to the whole team and especially Dr Pandavara, Fran and Julie who I am sure will really appreciate the feedback. Staff get a real boost from hearing such positive comments.
