"Two amazing carers"

About: Intermediate and Transitional Care / Community Rehabilitation Team

(as a relative),

My mum was released from hospital with a care package consisting of 4 calls a day. The care package has been amazing & played a big part in helping to give me a little bit of my life back as before my mums stay in hospital I was caring for her on my own full time. There have been two careers in particular that have went above & beyond their duty of care to my mum… Pascal  & Danielle. They noticed I was struggling to adapt to letting them taking over the reins so to speak they reassured me that everything is under control & encouraged me to start living life again as they are here to help & help they have!

I take great comfort in knowing my mum is being looked after by Danielle & Pascal during their call as she is treated like she is their own mum, nothing is too much trouble for them, they always make sure to have a chat whilst completing their duties & nothing is rushed in any way.

They are an absolute credit to their profession & to the trust as a whole, I honestly cannot sing their praises enough… they defiantly deserve some type of award or recognition!

Dear GemHin90

Thank you for taking the time to post this lovely feedback regarding the team. The staff will be delighted to read this, especially Pascal and Danielle.

I can only imagine it was tough for yourself being the sole carer for your mother, but it's wonderful to hear you feel you have some part of your life back knowing the team is providing care to your mother.

I wish your mother well in her rehab journey and glad it has made an impact on yourself aswell.

Thanks

Craig Ballentine-Kearns
