"I am always greeted with a cheery smile"

About: Oncology / Ward 32 Oncology Clinics (outpatients)

(as a relative),

Having brought my wife here previously, I know all, or most of the staff and am always greeted with a cheery smile / "Good morning".

I genuinely have no complaints about my care and or treatment and believe the staff do an amazing job. Even when busy, they still make time to stop for a quick chat.

My only issue, an it is nothing to do with the Unit is the lack of parking.

Good afternoon libratw36

My name is Alison and I am the senior nurse for the Oncology department, I would like to thank you for taking the time to feedback about you and your wife's experience attending the oncology department.

It is lovely to heat that you are given such a warm welcome when returning to the department. I am also delighted to hear that you have no concerns about the care provided to your wife.

Yes, your comments about the car parking situation are correct and it is an ongoing issue unfortunately.

Thank you again for providing such positive feedback- I will ensure they are shared with the oncology team.

Alison Orchiston, Senior Nurse, Oncology & Haematology, NHS Tayside.
