"They were all amazing"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Maternity care

(as the patient),

I felt very supported by my midwife Kirstin, who was fantastic during and after my labour. I had a difficult time after having to go to theatre to have my placenta removed and she was amazing afterwards supporting myself and my baby through the night. Wendy was also amazing the next day taking care of us in the HDU. Dr McMurray was wonderful whilst in the theatre at keeping me informed about what was happening and helping me to stay calm when I was very worried. I can’t thank everybody who cared for me and my baby at Ayrshire Maternity Unit enough, they were all amazing.
