Thank you for the feedback left about your recent visit to the Exeter Sexual Health clinic. I am really glad to read that you found the staff were really helpful and friendly during your visit, and I hope you had all your needs sorted at the appointment.

I appreciate that we were running late on the day you attended and that you were kept waiting 40 minutes past your appointment time. This is difficult and we recognise this can really impact on someone's day if they need to get back to work, education or have arranged childcare etc. We aim to let people know on booking that they should expect to be in the department for a minimum of an hour, just because our appointments often encompass more than just a consultation and can involve examinations, blood tests, lab work, possible treatments etc. We always try and do our best to run to time, but sometimes healthcare is unpredictable and patients attend with complex needs that take longer to sort out. I apologise this meant you were kept waiting on this day and that it must have been frustrating for you, however I am glad that once you were seen you felt you received good care.
