"An upsetting and emotional journey made a little bit easier"

About: The Ulster Hospital / Early Pregnancy Clinic The Ulster Hospital / Gynaecology (Ward 4E) The Ulster Hospital / Neely Ward

(as the patient),

My partner and I recently had a miscarriage at 11 weeks. I attended the Early Pregnancy Unit & was admitted to 4E Neely Ward, Ulster Hospital to have surgical management of my miscarriage.

The staff were outstanding especially Staff Nurse Lucy and also student Nurse Lucy who looked after us both with so much empathy and care. They made such an upsetting and emotional journey that little bit easier for us.

Dear dracomq47,

I am so sorry to learn of the loss of your baby. This is understandably an extremely emotional and distressing time for you and your partner

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this lovely feedback regarding the compassionate care you received during your time on Ward 4E, Ulster Hospital. Both nurses mentioned will appreciate this recognition of their empathic care as will the rest of the nursing team..

We value feedback such as this very much and again thank you for taking the time to write about your experience.

I wish you both well for the future.
