I was referred to Breast clinic by my GP after experiencing some new changes. On arrival I was welcomed by the reception staff as soon as I arrived, lovely cheery ladies. I didn’t wait too long to be called through by Kelsey - she walked me through, orientated me to the area, walked me into the room explaining what was going to happen. Was a very calming lady - reassuring me all the way.
I was seen by Bilal, lovely doctor who had a lovely manner. Dr Idris also came in and explained the further testing and why. Bilal then walked me to the next waiting area for ultrasound scanning. I was offered information leaflets and given the opportunity to ask anything.
This is where I met Angie - another great lady who gave me so much information about the clinic and what was going to happen. She took me through to the scanning room, with dignity care and respect allowed me time to get changed again, and I lay down for the scan. The scan was performed by Amha and she told me there and then the result.
Angie and Kelsey really made me feel at ease like a normal person and no different (like you’re not sitting there with your boobs hanging out). Shining stars ladies 🌟 your smile and chat really did help put me at ease.
Thank you
And well done Clinic E - your patient centred care is clear to see.
