I had a wisdom tooth removed in an Aberdeenshire dental clinic. It was a difficult extraction resulting in a coronectomy.
Post surgery I experienced uncontrollable bleeding requiring me to eventually go to A&E at Aberdeen. I was seen after a relatively short waiting time in a consultation room on the Max Fax 210 ward.
I think the following names are correct: a nurse called Karen, a Junior Doctor called Dr Spector and Dr Lauren Homer all did a brilliant job at getting the bleeding under control and treating me with great care and compassion.
Both the high level of professionalism and caring response from all these members of staff gave me great confidence and reassurance during this terrifying ordeal.
I am immensely grateful to them for looking after me so well, and I would like them to know this. They have given me great confidence as I wait for my next operation.
"High level of professionalism and caring response"
