"Incredible care and support "

About: Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital (Wonford) / Maternity

My son was born by C-section on 28/3/24 and I wanted to express my appreciation for all staff that took care of us from the midwives, support staff, nurses, doctors and anaesthetists. Everyone we came into contact made us feel supported and heard and nothing was ever too much to ask. It must be such a challenging job working on a maternity ward where there are so many people needing so much support, with all the anxiety that goes along with having a new baby, and staff were always patient and empathetic despite this. Thank you all so much. Happy Easter. x

I work as part of the Maternity Transformation project with the local maternity and neonatal service to improve services for patients and staff.
