"The speed and caring attitude of the staff is to be applauded"

As a previous cancer patient I was referred to the hospital for tests as my GP was concerned that some cancer symptoms had returned.  Having been on a cancer treatment pathway before I expected to wait weeks for any hospital appointments. 

Things must have changed as I received a telephone call within days of the referral and was quickly given an appointment for a CT scan.  Ashley from the RCDS team got in touch with me and the scan and other tests were done and I had the results all in a fortnight. 

This is an amazing service which takes away all the worry and stress of waiting for results.  On this occasion my results were clear and my mind was put at ease. 

This service is a massive improvement on my previous experience with cancer diagnosis and my thanks to all the staff who dealt with my referral.  The speed and caring attitude of the staff is to be applauded.

It’s understandable that as a previous cancer patient, concerns about symptoms returning can be overwhelming therefore providing timely access to appointments and tests is crucial, and I'm glad that we were able to expedite the process for you.

I'm thrilled to hear that Ashley provided excellent support throughout your experience. Quick access to results can significantly alleviate worry and stress, and I'm pleased that we were able to provide this for you.
