"The treatment was 5 star 🌟"

About: Scottish Ambulance Service / Emergency Ambulance University Hospital Monklands / Acute Medical Receiving Unit University Hospital Monklands / Emergency Department University Hospital Monklands / Respiratory Medicine (Ward 17)

(as a relative),

My husband recently had chest pains and breathing difficulties,  he was moaning with the pain. I called 999, spoke to a lovely lady who made me feel at ease arranged for the ambulance.

The paramedics were very quick in coming, no waiting at all, again they made me feel at ease as they were so professional and courteous.

They transported my husband to hospital.  From the moment we arrived in A&E the treatment was 5 star ๐ŸŒŸ Doctors, nurses, everyone was great.

He was in a few wards where the standard of nursing was excellent, a big thank you to A&E, AMRU, Respiratory.

Dear Rosehall24

Thank you for sharing your story. It must have been a very worrying time so it is nice to read that you are happy with the care received.

If you would like me to pass on your thanks to the call handler who put your mind at ease may I ask that you contact our Patient Experience Team at sas.feedback@nhs.scot with your name, Care Opinion name, your husband's name and the address and date we attended.

I do hope he is feeling better now.

Kindest regards

David
