All the staff in this ward are exceptional, from being checked in and talking through the procedures to looking after and caring for you after your surgery, they are amazing and so caring, I can’t praise them enough. They definitely made me feel at ease and calmed my nerves.

The only 1 negative point I would have to comment on is that the ward was being used by a pain clinic that day and it was very noisy, so not the calm unit you need after surgery to recover.  There was a patient playing a video of a concert to the nurse so not very quiet.  However once the clinic stopped the ward went back to its calm ambience.  Don’t think this clinic was best placed in the recovery room.

It is reassuring to read that you felt the staff were exceptional and that you felt you were very well cared for, I will be sure to pass this onto the team who I am sure will appreciate your kind words.

I would like to reassure you that the Pain Clinic is currently being looked at, we appreciate your feedback and we will take this on board and make the necessary changes to ensure we keep the ward and recovery area as calm and relaxing as possible for our patients.
