I had a one off severe diabetic hypo' leading to a seizure. My wife called 999.
The ambulance crew were here in an excellent (given our rural location) 14 minutes and cared for me until I was fit enough for them to transport me to hospital. I have little recollection, but my wife if full of praise for the two person crew.
At hospital I was immediately admitted to an A&E cubicle, care for, and given a full suite of tests. When they were certain that there was no evidence for any underlying causes, other than diabetes, and that they felt I was well... then I was discharged.
The medical excellence, kindness and care, and professional skill was exemplary.
