"Excellent Practice, A Few Issues"

Claremont Clinic is excellent - the new building is clean and modern and reception staff were smiling and friendly, although a bit slow and did not notice the queue being quite long. The phones are always too busy but it is good if you go in person or if you book online. The lift is quite bad in the building - it is slow and does not tell you what floor you are on and seems to always be breaking down and causing reception problems.

Our whole family have been seen by the team here over the years and there are some excellent doctors here - special mentions to Dr kj, Dr sa, Dr c, Dr b and Dr cl. They have always been happy to help and take their time with all ofus. Their suggestions and prescriptions have almost always been spot on and when they are not sure, they have referred us. Dr c has done some surgeries on my brother and myself in the past for lumps that we had and he did an excellent job.

Nurse A has been excellent in caring for our family, taking the time to do our injections and check up on my mums diabetes.

The reason we have not given five stars are because of the reception and lift issues and also there is one of the newer doctors who we feel we need to highlight, Dr ra - she was quite rude in separate appointments with my mum, my nephew and my sister over the past year. She was rolling her eyes and muttering under her breath and at times she seemed bored. Her suggestions felt like she was not addressing their problems but sending them off in the hope that someone else would deal with their issues - which they did in the end as we saw other doctors here who were much better. We will avoid seeing her in the future and don't recommend anyone to book.

If these issues are dealt with we would give the clinic five or more stars as it is a really good GP for the area.

Thank you for your constructive feedback which we will pass onto our team members.

With regards to the telephones, we have experienced numerous technical problems and set backs. We apologise for this. However, since your review, we have managed to rectify some the problems. Patients will now have an option to to receive a call back from our reception. This will be initiated when the 4th caller is in the telephone queue. We hope this will improve our services. Thank your patience and understanding.
