"Total knee replacement"

About: North Devon District Hospital / General surgery

I found the longest wait was to see a consultant to be put on the list for surgery , but seeing how busy they all are it wasn't really that long. The date came round really quickly and when I went in the atmosphere across all the medical staff was calming and supportive. The surgeon and anaesthetists were sll fruendly and reasuring putting me at ease. The op went well and I was well on the road to recovery, now the turn of the nursing staff and physio dept again nothing but praise, they were all friendly and had alot of empathy towards the patients. Housekeeping kept the tea flowing so it felt like home.

I was lucky enough to go home the same day which I am sure aids in recovering that little bit quicker.
