"A friendly atmosphere"

About: Western General Hospital / General Surgery Western General Hospital / Theatres and Recovery

(as the patient),

I had a very good experience when coming into the Western General to have my appendix out. The nursing staff were excellent, very friendly, considerate and good at explaining what was happening.

Particularly Laura and Elie in Recovery and Tracy, Catherine and Yolanda in ward 23.

I felt very well cared for and there was a friendly atmosphere that made being in hospital more bearable.

Dear cricketjp76,

Thank you for taking the time to send this kind feedback. I will ensure the staff in recovery receive this.

I hope you are continuing to recover after you operation.

Best wishes

Gordon
