The staff were lovely but would repeatedly promise me the world and then leave me for hours in the corridor with no treatment after saying ‘5 mins’. All in all, I was waiting in the A&E room for four hours, I then got moved for an IV drip and they just left me for hours on a chair in a triage corridor. Everytime we asked for help they said you’ve only been here ten minutes, this started after we had been waiting for the IV for over an hour and went on for three hours. They showed no care at all for I’ll I was or how often I was being sick.
The staff are clearly over worked and there is not enough room for the number of patients.
I absolutely fear the next time I have to go into this hospital for any reason.
