"Very good with a needle"

About: Dr Gray's Hospital / Community Hub Dr Gray's Hospital / Stroke

(as a service user),

I moved to this area from England 12 months ago. All the medical services have been fantastic. I have many positive stories to tell about my own treatment and that of a visiting elderly relative who had a mini-stroke whilst staying with us and received wonderful care at Dr Gray's.

Two days ago I phoned the appointments hub for blood tests my consultant asked me to get. I got an appointment for yesterday (with lots of time choices). Parking at the hospital was free (unlike England) and plentiful and I was called as soon as I sat in the waiting area. The nurse, Marguerite, was absolutely lovely, friendly and engaging - also very good with a needle! So much so that it didn't hurt at all. The whole appointment took 45 mins from leaving home to getting back. Thank you!

Dear New-to-Moray lady

Many thanks for taking the time to feedback on your recent experience when booking and requiring a blood test. The team, especially Marguerite will be delighted to read your comments. The teams are always delighted to read such positive feedback about the service they deliver.

It was also so nice to read about your overall impression regarding the services delivered at Dr Gray's and great to hear about the care your relative received after the mini stroke.

With thanks and best wishes to you and your family.

Regards

Fiona
