MCL repair and arthroscope - RVH fracture clinic

RVH- definitely the centre of excellence for me. Following a ski injury to my knee, the treatment I have received at the RVH fracture clinic has been exceptional . My consultant Dr Stevenson is so skilled, knowledgeable, yet so personable. She instilled confidence from my first appointment that I was getting the best care. She gave time and clearly explained what my problem was and what her plan was to help me. Thank you so much Dr Stevenson.

I was taken in quickly for my surgery and the care I received was amazing.  Everyone was so kind, compassionate and friendly . Emily , Clodagh , Carol ,Anne Marie , Brendan , Doctor Mark , Karen the physio and the lovely anaesthetist Dr Janes stood out and went the extra mile to make me feel very safe, comfortable and well cared for. Dr Stevenson came to see me after a busy day of surgery on a Friday evening at almost 6pm (before going home to her own family )to explain how the surgery had gone and what the immediate aftercare would be, and gave me an appointment to see her in 5 days time. What a brilliant service.

I work as a community nurse and am very proud of the care I have received and feel strongly this needs to be highlighted. Thank you fracture clinic, 'a well oiled machine'.

Thank you so much for taking time to post this brilliant feedback on the care you received by our excellent Fracture Team in RVH. We are very proud of them and cannot thank them enough for the service they provide. They really do go above and beyond, even with the pressures they are under, and always put our patients first. I am delighted that you experienced this first hand.

I have passed your compliment to Ms Stevenson and both the Fracture and Physiotherapy Teams Senior Managers.

I wish you a healthy and successful recovery from your knee surgery.

Ms Stevenson is top of her game and we have the pleasure of working alongside.
