"Like a home from home"

About: Clackmannanshire Community Healthcare Centre / Older peoples' services

(as a relative),

My Mum has been in hospital in Sauchie for months, She had a fall and was a bit confused.

Now thanks to the care and attention of the staff there she is like a new person. She is in her 90s and is an amazing woman. Very independent and ever so grateful to the staff. Now all she wants is to get home.

There is not a thing that the staff will not do for their patients, including the students.

Sadly I live about 200miles away so can't see her often. I did make a trip for her birthday as a surprise and I was made so welcome and well looked after.

I really can't thank all the staff enough for looking after Mum.

Just a small hospital attached to the health centre but like a home from home. I so hope that the staff will get to see my review.

My only issues are with the social worker involved in mum's case.

Dear saligo

Thank you for taking the time to share your story with us, our staff work hard to meet the needs of our older people and to ensure the care we deliver is of a high standard and person centre focused. It was lovely that you could make it across for your mothers birthday and look forward to seeing you next time.

Best wishes

Owen
