"What is the point in making appointment times?"

About: Westover Surgery

Had an appointment today booked in at 1640hrs. I expect people to stick to appointment times as I hate people being late in my business, just as I like to turn up bang on time for appointments.

Kept waiting for 45 minutes and realised that at 1725hrs I was going to miss my next appointment to make a delivery for one of my business customers. In the end, I walked out and did not get the treatment I urgently needed.

What is the point in making appointments well in advance if Westover Surgery cannot keep to those appointment times or notify you if they are running late? Some common courtesy would be helpful.

I will now change my doctor / surgery to someplace else that operates with more professionalism.

First doctors appointment in at least 10 years - I expect a higher standard of care than this!
