"The staff were just wonderful"

I have found Cloughreagh Top Class. It has been brilliant, everyone was so helpful to me, and I am so thankful for the care and attention I received here. The staff were just wonderful, I couldn’t expect any more.

The food was top class, better than an hotel, they cater for everyone's likes/dislikes , the portion size was good and the food was piping hot.

My room was ideal, it was a good size for me to get around in my wheelchair and it was kept spotless, cleaned every day and bed changed regularly.

When I first came the physio team attended me on a regular basis and I made slow but steady progress. The team have now fitted out a room as a gym and I think this is a fantastic addition to the facilities at Cloughreagh and it would have been brilliant for me in the early days of my rehab journey. I have heard other residents talking about it and how they are doing their exercises in the gym.

I was in Cloughreagh longer than I first expected as I couldn’t get a Package of Care but I didn’t give up and now I’m going home with Direct Payments and organising my own carers. This is also a great idea and I’m so happy to be getting home.

I will miss everyone in Cloughreagh, it was like a Home from Home and I appreciated the friendliness of the staff and I also met several other residents and made some new friendships. A big thankyou to everyone in Cloughreagh, you are just brilliant.
