"They showed so much compassion"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Early Pregnancy Assessment Service

(as a parent/guardian),

My daughter was triaged into the EPAS unit on the Friday and had to go back a couple of times over the next week. The care, compassion, and dignity of the doctors and nurses were next to none. They considered her and us as her parents.

They showed empathy and the staff were outstanding.

We had to return so that my daughter could have surgery, and the staff, including the senior midwife, registered nurses, CSW's, and student ambulance worker showed care that was next to none. The theatre staff the anaesthetist to CSW's were by my daughter's side when she woke up, reassuring her.

The staff couldn't have supported us better, they showed so much compassion.

Dear lovemh78,

Thank you for taking the time to post on care opinion. I will pass on your comments to the EPAS team. They will be pleased to hear your daughter had a good patient journey at such a difficult time.

Take Care and if the department can be of any assistance to your daughter in the future then please don't hesitate to contact the team.
